Wow November went by so quickly and with it so did NaBloPoMo – although it seems that it goes on all year now. I certainly didn’t post every day but “try again” is always my motto so this month I am going to follow along with Reverb#10 that I saw over at Susannah Conway’s Blog.
I am starting on Day 2 so here goes… One Word.
Encapsulate the year 2010 in one word. Explain why you’re choosing that word. Now, imagine it’s one year from today, what would you like the word to be that captures 2011 for you? (Author: Gwen Bell)
My one word for 2010 to sum it all up would have to be “Change”. I changed jobs in January of 2010, I changed my relationship status starting in March of 2010, I changed apartments in July 2010, I changed locations (just for two weeks) in October 2010, and I changed names in November of 2010.
I guess when I write it all down that is a lot of change. For someone that does not like change, doesn’t like transitions and prefers the comfy cozy that is a lot of change. And I am still standing. I have two things to say about all of that (1) Go me, and (2) Thank you to my friend and family who propped me up along the way.
My word for 2011 is going to be NOURISH. Nourish myself, nourish my bank account, nourish my creative side, nourish possibility for the future.
