Today I ran my first (and hopefully not last) mile of the season. Define “ran” however you like. Ran, jogged, walked…I guess a little of each, but I got my heart rate pumping and felt good. No commitments here. I’d like to do it again, and maybe again, and again. But for now, I did it today, and that is more than yesterday.
I have tried this on and off again over the years. At my best, in college I could easily run 3-5 miles. These days I would be happy with just getting out there and running a few miles a few times a week.
This time I have some slightly different motivation 😉
