6:18 PM and Hurricane Sandy is blowing through. It’s come, but not yet gone. In my neck of the woods it was wet, and it was windy, but only saw one tree down on my last walk. It was literally ripped up at the roots.

I feel lucky because during last year’s storm and this year’s storm I know thousands of people have lost power, and have to deal with flooding. I am not sure if it is because of where I am positioned with a hill up behind me.

Work was closed today, so Kona and I hunkered down for the day. I did some work from home, watched a few backed up recorded shows, cleaned out my bureau drawers, and finally made myself some comfort food.

A little tuna noodle casserole.
