I am thankful for the warmth of the heater at my feet right now, for health insurance I can afford, for a job that has appreciated me, and given me opportunity to grow this year, and for a solid group of friends.
I am thankful for the little dance my dog does every time I walk in the door, and for the opportunity I have had this year to volunteer and help so many dogs find their forever home.
I am thankful for having had 13 years with my dog Marley, and thankful I could be there with her (as hard as it was) at the end. I am thankful for being an aunt, and for being able to watch my 2 nieces grow and experience joy in so many ways.
Mostly, hands down the thing I am most thankful for is my family – in so many ways, for so many reasons, so many times. Thank you.
